We make every effort to ship all orders within 24-48 hours of receipt (except for Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays), however this is not always possible due to merchandise availability and other unforeseen events.  In most cases orders go out SAME DAY if received by 3pm EST M-F.

Vanguard Security Corporation does not guarantee transit times on ground packages or standard freight.  Any redelivery fee or change of address fee will be the responsibility of the consumer. Transit times may vary for areas deemed remote by the carrier as these areas are only delivered to periodically.  Any damaged shipments must be refused. If the carrier has to store your delivery because you missed an appointment or there is any delivery delay caused by the consumer, there will be storage fees from the carrier that will need to be paid before the delivery can be made. If these are not paid and the shipment has to be returned, the associated fees will be deducted from the refund of the product. The original shipping paid by the consumer will not be refunded as that cost has already been incurred.

We use the following rate table for UPS Ground shipping:

Up to $100      $16.95

$100 – $200    $19.95

Over $300      $26.95

Flat Rate shipping are for locations in the Continental United States only. Other areas, such as Hawaii, Alaska, Florida Keys, Puerto Rico, or outside of the U.S. we cannot ship to unfortunately. Actual street addresses and not PO Boxes must be used for shipping of products.

Products damaged in transit by freight carrier:
While it’s unfortunate, products are damaged by the delivery carrier from time to time.  PLEASE clearly notate on the carrier’s paperwork that the item was damaged when it arrived, refuse the shipment, and supply us with a copy of that paperwork.  You must inspect the item(s) by opening the pallet and boxes to check for concealed freight damage. Please contact us so we can get you a replacement or find a solution for the damage to be repaired.  It is highly recommended that you remove the wrapping and/or box and inspect the product for hidden damage as well.  If the carrier will not let you remove the box, then please clearly write on the freight bill “Subject to Inspection for Damage”.
If concealed damage is later discovered, please notify the carrier as quickly as possible (within 24 hours) and follow up with them via written notice.  Hold the container and product for inspection in as close to the same condition as it was when delivered.  Once you have signed for the product and accepted delivery, the carrier and Vanguard Security Corporation are  no longer responsible and the product is yours.  Your signature is acknowledgement that your order is free of damage, if not noted otherwise on the freight bill.


Cancelling an Order:
Cancellations are only allowed if the product has not been shipped.  If you wish to cancel an order, you must call 800-840-6150 and speak with a representative. Orders attempted to be cancelled any other way may not actually be cancelled as orders are promptly filled and shipped.  Special order items typically can’t be cancelled or returned. In some instances special order items may be returned to the manufacture but re-stocking fees and shipping charges will be incurred. Any re-stocking fees and shipping charges will be deducted from the refund amount issued by Vanguard Security Corporation.
